Topas Ecolodge: New Hiking Adventure

For the hiking enthusiasts, there in a new adventure in town: the Topas Ecolodge. Situated 18 kilometers off  ${attraction_Sa_Pa:”Sa Pa”}, Topas Ecolodge guests will be treated to an adventure through the whole Muong Hoa Valley. They will stand witness to many ethnic minority communities in the area which call the place their home.
 
A hiking package was especially set up for visitors and hiking lovers who want to explore Topas Ecolodge. With the vision and mission of highlighting “the best of Northern Vietnam,” the package consists of a night train ride from ${bigcity_Hanoi:"Hanoi"} to Lao Cai, a Topas bus ride to Sa Pa where guests will be treated to a sumptuous breakfast, and then a whole day walk through the town, along a dirt trail through vegetable gardens, rice paddy terraces and a river at the end of the valley. At the end of the day, visitors will enjoy a dinner and even an overnight stay at the lodge’s beautiful bungalows overlooking the valleys. The last day of the hiking package gives the tourists a chance to experience daily life in the community by spending some time there.
 
All in all, the package includes an English/ French speaking guide, meals, overnight stay at the Topas Ecolodge, return train ticket to Hanoi. Throughout the tour, visitors will have the rare opportunity to see the ethnic communities and their unique culture, and the breathtaking view of the deep valleys covered by terraced rice fields and majestic mountains.
 
Aside from the hiking package, Topas Ecolodge also offers a tour package to North Vietnamese markets, which are the meeting places of the hill tribes in Vietnam because of its colorful, festive atmosphere. The package treats its guests to a visit to the different tribes in the country dressed in their colorful, traditional costumes; and see or purchase fresh items sold at the markets such as exotic herbs and spices, rice wine and local souvenirs.
 
Markets are an important place in Vietnam because people go there not only to shop, but to gather once a week, especially on weekends, to get together and spend time with family, friends and other loved ones.
