Thuy Dai Son: A Mystery to Unfold

Thuy Dai Son: A Mystery to Unfold

At only 54 meters high, Thuy Dai Son is known as the smallest peak in the That Son Mountain Range, Tri Ton District, An Giang Province.

But aside from this title, Thuy Dai Son is also famous for other reasons. Its local legends which have been passed on for many generations through a long period of time is something that tourists wouldn't want to miss when they visit the place. The mountain is also filled with other interesting sights which are a must-see for any visitor.

Nui Nuoc Pagoda is situated at the foot of Thuy Dai Son. While the pagoda itself is a sight to behold, visitors are even given another treat of being able to witness a 300-year old fig tree shading on a small temple worshipping a genie tiger. An enormous statue of a genie turtle is also a must-visit. Moreover, large, odd-shaped rocks which are said to have a “mysterious” origin can also be seen scattered along the mountain.

On a lighter side to the believed “mysterious” Thuy Dai Son, tourists can witness and at the same experience an exciting ox cart ride from the local residents who use it as a daily transportation to travel to and fro their farming products and even people. Now, who wouldn't say Thuy Dai Son is an interesting place to visit, if not a mystery to unfold?
