Ritz Carlton Hotel to Open in HCMC on 2015

Bitexco Group, a successful multi-industry corporation known to have developed various high-profile projects in ${bigcity_Hanoi:"Hanoi"} and ${bigcity_Ho_Chi_Minh_City:”Ho Chi Minh City”}, will once again launch a multi-million dollar project in the country. With the proposed total investment of around $500 million, the company will put up Ritz Carlton Hotel in the heart of HCMC. Bitexco always strives for growth and prosperity, maintaining a reputation in Vietnam as always on the lookout for sustainable development and global perspective. The 5-star international hotel chain aims to boost tourism and trade in the city.

Under the construction project called "The One Ho Chi Minh City", the 48-storey tower shall contain office spaces in the lower half and the Ritz Carlton Hotel in the upper floors. The hotel’s public areas are in the podium and include a ballroom, meeting rooms, restaurants, bar, fitness club and a pool at the podium roof deck. Above the office levels will be the Ritz Carlton’s guest rooms, VIP suites, VIP club and rooftop lounge. The hotel will provide the most luxurious amenities, services and facilities to attract both local and international travelers.

The construction of the towers will take on the inspiration of the ancient Vietnamese legend of the two dragons. It will embody two towers symbolizing dragons rising up from the land as a sign of strength and prosperity. These will glow at night and be recognizable from any point in the city.

In a press conference held on April 26, Suk Ko, the CEO of Bitexco Group, expressed that its means of forging a huge project during these difficult times is a great start for an economic recovery. According to him, “the dark clouds of the economic horizon are moving away and latest economic data show that Vietnam is on the road to recovery”.

The Bitexco Group is also the investor of the 68-floor Bitexco Financial Tower, which is currently the highest building in HCMC.
