Quang Binh: Tourist Destination in Rising

Quang Binh is composed of 300 caves and a 116 kilometer long coastline with white sand, among others. It's no surprise then that it is fast becoming a tourist attraction all over the world.
Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park is known as the “Kingdom of Caves” because as the name suggests, it is made up of many caves, among which are: Phong Nha; Tien Son; Thien Duong; Toi; En; and Son Doong. Moreover, it has a rich flora and fauna that makes it a popular destination among both local and foreign visitors. Quang Binh's caves may be more “challenging” in comparison to the others, but it is because they have been around longer, therefore older but definitely more stunning and breathtaking.
Phong Nha – Ke Bang has been a strong attraction among tourists from all over the globe, having welcomed three million visitors over the past 10 years. This is also why through time, the park's management board has been continually active in establishing and promoting tourism techniques to invite even more people into the park. Exhibitions, films, TV productions/ documentaries, and tours, local and abroad are just some of the tools utilized by the management board in order to attract even more visitors into Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.
Thien Duong Cave is composed of hundred-year old forests and stalactites and stalagmites. Each stalactite and stalagmite is unique in shape and can be found on both the ceilings and floors of the cave. It is this naturally striking beauty that earned the cave its name in the first place, which literally means Paradise. It was recognized as the longest cave in Asia in 2005 by the British Caving Association. Tourists take an electric car to reach Thien Duong, but only the first kilometer of the cave is open to the public. The deeper part of the cave is much more difficult to access and needs special equipment to do so.
Sinh Ton Valley on the other hand is a primeval forest made up of 2,000 hectares of land area. It is considered to be a “Living Museum” because of its high bidoversity of flora and fauna and rich historical, geological and geomorphologic values.
Nhat Le Beach is another famous tourist spot at Quang Binh. The province is located at the border of the East Sea, so it is also naturally blessed with crystal-blue water and white, sandy beaches. Tourists flock to area especially in the summer time when the beach is at its best.
Along the coast near Nhat Le River, Nguyen Du and Truong Phap roads are filled with historical relics and views worthy as well of tourist visits and tours. Tam Toa Church (monument dedicated to the National Heroic Mother Suot) and the archaeological site of Bau Tro are among the atrractions in the area.
The fishing villages of Bao Ninh offer home-stay tours to give visitors a short but insightful and on-hand experience about life in a fishing community. Guests are treated to the local seafood and listen to the native folk songs, all in all an enlightening and unforgettable memory about Quang Binh that no wonder makes it a popular tourist destination today.
