In order to speed up its socio-economic development, Quang Binh formulated 34 tourism projects for the current year 2015 up to 2020. Requiring over 23 trillion VND or 1.03 billion USD, the central province is calling out to investors, both domestic and foreign, to finance the said projects.

Some of the projects include: a 1.5-2 trillion VND entertainment park in Dong Hoi City; the Da Nhay – Ba Trai Resort and tourism complex priced at 1.5 trillion VND, at least; an eco-tourism complex in Bo Trach District worth 1 trillion VND; a 36-hole golf course in Quang Ninh District which costs 1 trillion VND; a luxury resort in Dong Hoi City which requires an immense capital of 2.5 trillion VND; and a mineral water eco-tourism site project in Le Thuy District which needs about 1.2 trillion VND to build.

Six of these projects have a total capital of more than 1 trillion VND which is equivalent to 45.4 million USD. The other 28 sums up to 28 trillion VND or 1.26 billion USD, the latter of which the province is presently working on to complete the legal requirements needed to bestow investment licenses to interested parties, hopefully within the month.
