Homestaying in Ban Ho Village

When coming to Sapa with the intention of experiencing homestay, Ban Ho Village is most recommended. Ban Ho is located around 20 kilometers from Sapap beginning at the end of the motor way. The town, surrounded by mountains and hills, is known for its vast and flat valley.

It is divided into three areas: Ta Trung Ho, Xeo Trung Ho and Hoang Lien, where the ethnic minorities Mong, Dao, and Tay settle. The villagers are known for their warmth and hospitability, something tourists coming here appreciate the most. House owner bring foods and wine for their guests and entertain them with local songs. Guests are then taken to the Red Dao village on the mountain and treated for a dive into a wooden tank filled with herbs, known to bring wellness and relaxation.

There are many other things to see and experience in Ban Ho Village including visits to stream Lave and Da Nhay waterfall, as well as trekking activities. There is no definite price named for each homestay experience, however guides usually pay 20.000vnd per person for each day of accommodation.
