Duong Dong Town is famous both for its sunrise and sunset. While Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province is famous for its picturesque sunset, Ham Ninh Fishing Village is the place to be if you want to witness perhaps the most breathtaking sunrise you'll ever experience.

Ham Ninh Fishing Village is located at April 30 Street, about 20 kilometers to the North East direction of the town. While fishing is the main livelihood of the local residents, they also earn extra income by selling souvenirs and food to the tourists visiting their place.

Among the must-try delicacies at Ham Ninh are wine-soaked sea horse, tram mushroom, pineapple, and perhaps its most popular specialty boiled ghe crab served with pepper-salt-lemon mixture. The dish is especially known for its sweet juice and firm flesh.

But while Ham Ninh Fishing Village is celebrated for its idyllic sunrise, it's best to be there before 4:30 in the early morning to be able to witness the so-called “perfect” sunrise.
