To promote traditional Vietnamese costumes such as the ao dai, the world-famous franchise Fashion Café opened in ${bigcity_Ho_Chi_Minh_City:”Ho Chi Minh City”}.

Naturally, the first show was entitled “Miss Saigon” and showcased Vietnam’s traditional dresses for women. The show featured four collections including ao dai (Vietnamese long dress), mandarin gown, yem dao (Vietnamese style brassiere), and modern dresses.

Fashion Café displays different collections of ao dai in different periods permanently in its establishment. Aside from the dresses themselves, the exhibition also includes the dressmaking materials, different kinds of traditional silks and threads in making the ao dai. A collection of arts and fashion books can also be found in the bar, books about the history of ao dai or the national dress of the traditional Vietnamese woman.

Fashion Café at Ho Chi Minh City offers different kinds of drinks from the different parts of Vietnam, particularly in the north, central and south regions of the country. For fashion enthusiasts, this is a one-of-kind experience tasting both oriental fashion and exotic drinks.

Compared to the other Fashion Cafes all around the world and other fashion-themed establishments, Vietnam Fashion Café stands out from all the rest because it features the region’s traditional clothes, drinks and food in an ultra-modern, very “in” environment.
