This year’s Danang International Firework Festival is a two-month celebration which started last April 30, 2017 and will end on June 24. Han River is the venue, set up with a five-element floating stage in connection to its five-night fireworks display featuring the elements of fire, earth, metal, water and wood. Under the theme “Shining Marble Mountains,” this is the 9^th DIFF which is aimed to be grand and memorable.

The festivity opened with a top-of-the-line fireworks display organized by teams from Vietnam and Austria. With the stage designed with the sky and the river reflecting everything from it, the result is a fantastic mirror effect, seemingly enlarging the show and making it even more spectacular.

The stage is set up with smaller stage models and can seat 22,000 guests. Flower garlands and torches have been added, creating an overall breathtaking sight to the venue.

An amazing art performance was presented by local and foreign artists. Austrian artists displayed an entertaining horn-blowing and flag dance show, much to the delight of the audience. World-famous DJs also showed off unique musical performances. A balloon show, paragliding, street festival, and a five-element cuisine were other activities lined up for the big event.

Among the popular performers in the festival were Cao Minh; Bach Hac – Mai Trung – Dieu Hy, famous choreographer and known as the “people’s artist;” M4U music band; and hundreds of other top-calibre artists from theatres and art companies all over Vietnam.

Teams from Italy, China, Japan, Switzerland, England and Australia were also invited to guarantee a sensational and unforgettable celebration. Thus, even the sound and light were of the highest quality. There was even a 3D mapping image system of the latest technology.

The 2017 DIFF is deemed to be a must-see for both domestic and international tourists, an extravagant celebration that is both entertaining and meaningful.
