CNN to Promote Trang An Tourism Complex

Trang An Tourism Complex will be promoted by CNN, one of the most powerful global media moguls, on June. This was confirmed by the spokersperson of the Ninh Binh-based tourism site.
CNN will feature Trang An Tourism Complex in its network through a 30-minute video footage showcasing the most breathtaking sights of Trang An. It will be aired 180 times on the channel under a US$250,000 contract with the Ninh Binh government. This is part of a global promotional program for Trang An and a joint effort by the provincial government and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Trang An is made up of 10,000 hectares. It is known for its diverse ecosystem, one-of-a-kind natural beauty, and unique geological characteristics. The tourism site is composed of the Trang An Ecological Site, Tam Coc-Bich Dong Site, and what used to be the Hoa Lu Capital Area. It is home to 500 species of flora, 73 species of birds, and 41 species of other animals.
Trang An was recognized as a national heritage site on May 2012. But on September of the same year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to be in collaboration with the Vietnam National Commission, submitted a proposal to UNESCO pushing for a global recognition of the tourism site.
