Cherry Blossom Festival in Ha Long to Bloom Soon

Cherry Blossom Festival in Ha Long to Bloom Soon

As an annual commemoration of both Vietnamese and Japanese cultures, the Northern Province of Quang Ninh will celebrate the Ha Long Cherry Blossom Festival on March 18, 2016 highlighting the beautiful blooms of Japan.

A multitude of pink and white blooms will be coming straight from Japan, so many that visitors to the said event will surely be amazed at the sight of them alone. Moreover, there will be other activities lined up for the special occasion such as art workshops; display of local food products, clothes and home appliances; folk games; and a conference to stimulate tourism and trade in the province. Ha Long Bay, an UNESCO-acknowledged World Natural Heritage site will be at the forefront of the promotion.

The festival will be a three-day event with hundreds of thousands of local and international tourists expected to attend. The activities will be featured particularly at 30/10 Square, Ha Long City, Northern Province of Quang Ninh, hoping to foster even closer ties between Vietnamese and Japanese tourism and their beautiful cultures in general.
